Sheffield Tap Gains an Award and a Further Grant

The attached Press Release marks the unveiling of a plaque to commemorate Sheffield Tap winning a 2010 National Railway Heritage Award.  The pub, at Sheffield Station, won the Modern Railways Restoration Award for the most meritorious entry in the commercial sector.  The event was also the occasion for Sheffield Tap to announce the award of a new grant of £67,000 from the Railway Heritage Trust, to fund expansion into the adjacent former first class dining room.
